Steven H. Suh, MD

Dr. Steven Suh, a son of a pediatrician, grew up in Coshocton, Ohio. Majoring in zoology, he graduated with honors from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where he was a member of the Landacre Research Honor Society. His interest in the field of ophthalmology began while in medical school when he participated in several ocular research studies at Columbus Children’s Hospital. Dr. Suh completed his internship with Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus and went on to complete his ophthalmology training at St. Francis Medical Center in Pittsburgh, where he was chief resident. He has published eye and vision research articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology annual meetings. Dr. Suh and his family have joined Medical Ministry International on numerous eye care mission projects to Mexico to examine, treat, and perform surgery on patients.  He is also listed in Best Doctors and as one of America’s Top Ophthalmologists by Consumers’ Research Council of America.  Dr. Suh enjoys tennis and has run in the Columbus Marathon and the New York City Marathon. He has started a podcast called Healthy Eyes 101 to help educate patients about their eye conditions and their latest treatments.
