Optometrist Westerville & Columbus

Dr. Jennifer Steineman grew up in small-town Minster, Ohio and moved to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree with honors in Chemistry. She went on to obtain her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry, graduating Magna cum laude and as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Dr. Steineman completed a residency in ocular disease management at the Chillicothe and Columbus Veterans Affairs Medical Centers. After residency, she joined the Chillicothe VA as a staff optometrist and became the Optometry Student Externship Coordinator for many years.
Dr. Steineman provides comprehensive eye care, including prescription of glasses and contact lenses, management of eye infections and injuries, non-surgical management of many eye conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, dry eye, and glaucoma. She is a member of the Ohio Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, Fellowship of the American Academy of Optometry, and is currently the Vice-President of the Ohio Chapter of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Steineman and her husband live in the Columbus area with their daughter and two dogs. She enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors, and baking.
